Free Shooting Games for Android, No Install

Free Shooting Games for Android, No Install

Every game here opens in your Android browser. No APK, no Play Store account, no permissions prompt, and nothing left on the phone when you close the tab — which is the whole point if your storage is full or the device is not yours to install things on.

There are nineteen of them, and they are not variations on one game. They are grouped below by the shape of the fight, because that is what decides whether a shooter suits you and it is impossible to tell from a screenshot.

Enemies come down, you shoot up

The largest group. You hold a position near the bottom and deal with what descends.

Alien Invasion is the reference version and the right place to start. You command a ship at the bottom of the screen, dodge incoming fire, and blast aliens before they reach the ground — that last part is the actual fail condition, not your own health. Power-ups give enhanced weapons, shields and special attacks.

Insect Swarm runs the same rule with bugs: blast them before they reach the ground.

Bug Blaster sets it in a garden, with flies, beetles and wasps descending from above. It is one of the gentler boards here.

Nebula Wars adds structure — waves of alien ships through cosmic nebula clouds, power-ups to collect, and boss encounters.

Ember Blast has you throwing fireballs at waves of ice demons. Thunder Bolt fires lightning at cloud enemies. Dragon Flight flies a knight through dragon-infested skies, dodging fire breath and collecting treasure.

Phoenix Rise is the one with an idea the others do not have. You play a phoenix, and when you are destroyed you rise from the ashes in an explosive rebirth that damages nearby enemies. Dying is part of the design rather than the end of it, which is a genuinely different relationship with a life bar.

Asteroid Miner blasts through rocky fields, collects gold ore, and lets you upgrade your mining laser — so there is progression across a run. It is rated Pro, the hardest tier on the site.

Sky Strike swaps space for a WWII propeller plane shooting down enemy fighters and bombers.

Deep Sea Dive does it underwater, blasting sea creatures as you descend.

Enemies come from everywhere

Holding one edge of the screen no longer works.

Radius Raid is built on this explicitly: enemies attack from 360 degrees, so you constantly rotate and fire rather than strafing along a line. Upgrades enhance firepower and unlock new weapons.

Xeno Blast is a top-down arena fight against xenomorphs.

Bullet Storm Arena is the hardest game in this list and is described as such — a Pro tier twin-stick arena shooter built for players who want more intensity than the site's casual action games. Drones spawn from every direction and get faster and denser the longer you survive, and a boss ship with a radial bullet pattern arrives every fifth wave. A session runs about five minutes.

It is also the one game here with a documented touch layout: a left virtual stick to move and a right pad to aim. If you are on a phone specifically, that is the one to open first.

You hold a fixed position

Harbor Defense puts you on a cannon turret defending a harbour from incoming enemy ships.

Garden Defense has you shooting seeds at invading bugs and snails, with flower power-ups that double your fire rate.

UFO Invasion is a retro-styled space defence shooter against wave after wave of UFOs.

Shooting games that are not space shooters

Clay Skies is a skeet-shooting arcade. Clay discs launch from the trap and arc across the sky, and you track and fire to shatter them before they fall. The constraint that makes it interesting is limited shells each round against escalating waves — you cannot spray, so every shot is a decision. Nothing else on this list works that way.

Coral Reef shoots bubble projectiles at sea creatures while you dodge jellyfish.

What "free, no install" actually costs you here

Worth being straight about the trade, because it is a real one.

A browser shooter cannot use the things an installed Android game uses. There is no push notification pulling you back, no cloud save syncing your progress to another device, and no controller pairing flow. Your high score lives in that browser on that phone. If you clear site data or switch to a different browser, it starts over.

What you get in exchange is that nothing is installed. No storage consumed, no permissions granted, no account created, and no background process. On a phone that is full — or a phone belonging to a school, an employer, or a parent — that is often the difference between playing and not playing.

Choosing by difficulty rather than by theme

Every game on Playvora carries a difficulty tier, and in this genre the tiers are far apart.

Intermediate — Alien Invasion, Radius Raid, Bug Blaster, Garden Defense and Coral Reef — gives you space to learn where enemies come from before they become dense.

Advanced covers most of this list: Nebula Wars, Ember Blast, Thunder Bolt, Dragon Flight, Phoenix Rise, Sky Strike, Xeno Blast, Insect Swarm, Harbor Defense, UFO Invasion and Deep Sea Dive.

Pro is Asteroid Miner and Bullet Storm Arena, and the gap is not subtle. Bullet Storm Arena states outright that it is built for players wanting more intensity than the casual action games.

The useful order is: start at Alien Invasion to learn the descending-wave rule, move to Radius Raid to learn fighting on all sides, and only then open Bullet Storm Arena. Going straight to the Pro tier is how people decide they dislike a genre they would otherwise enjoy.

FAQ

Do I need to install an APK or use the Play Store?

No. Every game here loads in your Android browser. There is no APK to sideload, no Play Store account, no permissions prompt, and no app left on the phone afterwards.

Will these work on an older or low-storage phone?

They are browser games, so they use no storage beyond ordinary caching, and there is no install step to fail. The practical limit is your browser rather than the phone — if it can no longer update, some pages may misbehave regardless of how light the game is.

Which one is easiest to play with touch controls?

Bullet Storm Arena is the only game here with a documented touch layout — a left virtual stick to move and a right pad to aim. It is also the hardest game on the list, so it is a better second stop than a first one.

Which is the hardest?

Bullet Storm Arena and Asteroid Miner, both rated Pro. Bullet Storm Arena escalates drone density as you survive and sends a boss with a radial bullet pattern every fifth wave.

Is there anything here that is not a space shooter?

Yes. Clay Skies is skeet shooting with a limited number of shells per round, Harbor Defense is a naval cannon turret, Garden Defense is bugs and snails in a garden, Sky Strike is a WWII aerial dogfight, and Coral Reef is underwater.

Are my scores saved?

Only in the browser on the device you played on. There is no account, so scores do not follow you to another phone or another browser.

Are they genuinely free?

Yes. They run in the browser with no download, no install and no signup.
